Things to do

Places to visit

There are endless things to do in Los Angeles. From Palos Verdes, you can travel up or down the coast and visit some of the iconic beaches for the day, or travel a few miles east and visit iconic locations in Hollywood or go shopping at the Grove, Rodeo Drive or the Galleria. You can also make a day trip out of some of the fun theme parks including Universal Studios in Universal City, and Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm in Orange County. While there are so many things to do, our favorite past time is driving through some of the opulent neighborhoods in Larchmont and San Marino and imagine what it would be like living there. And then we come back down to reality and grab a bite at one of our favorite restaurants below. But we can promise that whatever you decide to do during your visit, you will have the time of your life. California forever, goodbye!

Our favorite restaurants

Din Tai Fung

If you're in the mood for soup dumplings, lychee martinis and oodles of noodles, visit one of our favorite restaurants, Din Tai Fung. Order the sauteed string beans with garlic to start, some kurobuta pork xiao long bao and shrimp and pork wontons in spicy sauce to share, and end your meal with chocolate and mochi xiao long bao for an unforgettable dining experience. There are a few locations across LA, but
here is one close to our wedding venue.

Raffi's Place

For our out of town friends who want to try Persian cuisine during your time in LA, visit Raffi's Place in Glendale for some authentic Iranian dishes. Try the Ghormesabzi, soltani kabobs and tadig. Here's how to get there.

Gerry's Grill

Angeline's mom makes the best Filipino food, but since she won't be cooking during the weekend of the wedding, stop by Gerry's Grill in Artesia for the second best Filipino food in Southern California. Angeline recommends the Kare Kare, Sisig, Crispy Pata and Adobo Fried Rice.
